Philosophy
Our motto of Junior Kindergarten at Bloomfield Christian School is “Nascantur In Admiratione” (Let them be born in wonder)! All learning begins in wonder and our junior kindergarten program is designed to foster and cultivate the child’s innate sense of wonder and discovery in God’s creation.
Program Details
- Junior Kindergarten is a five (5) half or full day program
- Half Day | Tuition: $2,730 (7:45 - 11:00 am)
- Full Day | Tuition: $4,200 (7:45 am - 2:46 pm)
- Children must be 4 before September 1 to be eligible
- Application fee - $100
- No enrollment fee!
- Max Class Size = 12 students

Curriculum: Integrated and Fun
Bloomfield Christian School’s Junior Kindergarten curriculum will prepare students for our Kindergarten program. Classroom instruction will focus on early math and literacy skills, as well as, developing social skills and independence. A hands-on, play filled environment will support students in their development while nurturing godly character.
A Typical Day in Junior Kindergarten
8-8:30 am - Morning Welcome Activities
8:30-9 am - Bible
9-9:30 am - Phonemic Awareness & Letter Work
9:30-10 am -Wise Choice Play Time
10- 10:30 am - Read Aloud
10:30-11 am - Math Activities
11-11:30 am - Lunch
11:30 am-12 pm - Recess
12-12:30 pm - Rest Time
12:30-1 pm - Read Aloud
1-1:30 pm - Art & Craft Time
1:30-2 pm - Structured Gross Motor Skill Play
2-2:30 pm - End of Day Activities and Packing Up
